The lightest and most compact stretcher while retaining the function of holding a rigid frame, unlike Foxtrots. For those who care about the weight of their equipment while maintaining full functionality. Created at the request of scouts in 2016 for long-distance exits. But it is also effectively used in other cases of evacuation, except for air. Due to its size and weight, these stretchers are less likely to be abandoned during a sharp change in position. It was significantly improved and took its final form at the beginning of a full-scale invasion.
YUTA stretchers are a universal (often the only) solution for evacuating the wounded in any conditions and areas where conventional means do not work or are ineffective, sometimes the only option to save the wounded.
A radical change in the speed of evacuation and the number of people involved. The importance of these points does not need to be explained now.
Evacuation of the wounded from the front line to a safe area, quick loading onto the NRC, the possibility of delivering the stretcher to the point by heavy helicopters, use in suspended systems, transporting the injured from the forest, mountainous terrain, difficult terrain, destroyed buildings and other unsuitable places. All this is possible with the YUTA stretcher.
The YUTA stretcher is a universal and understandable solution to the problem of evacuating the wounded in any terrain and conditions where conventional means do not work or are ineffective. During the war, these stretchers turned from an exotic tool for professionals into an essential item in the military’s equipment. In the Third Separate Assault Brigade, these stretchers were adopted as the main means of such a plan. In addition to the military sphere, they are also effectively used by rescuers, civilian volunteers, ambulance doctors and hospitals for transporting patients or evacuating in case of fires.
Plastic stretchers provide, strange as it may sound, comfort for the wounded (especially the full-size model), absorbing the unevenness of the terrain, and save the strength of rescuers. In addition, if necessary, evacuation can be carried out by even one or two people. The speed of evacuation is increasing, as an important factor of survival on the modern battlefield.
With the advent of the NRK, stretchers have not faded into the background. Because the positions are stretched, and the robot also needs to be brought and loaded with the wounded quickly. In addition, if the NRC is hit, the stretcher can be pulled to a safe area with the help of an evacuation team. The features of using the stretcher together with the NRC are described in the article on our website dedicated to this.
YUTA stretchers work in any natural conditions, on any soil, asphalt and concrete. There have been cases of evacuation for eight kilometers, and the stretchers were used for their intended purpose for a long time after that. The anti-friction adhesive prevents the wounded from slipping in the stretcher, and also reduces the effect of hypothermia, reducing heat loss from the back.
With all this, the YUTA stretchers have a compact size when folded. The most common model YUTA-M is the size of a tourist sleeping mat. Due to this, they will find a place for themselves in a car, on a SP, in positions. Easily fixed to a backpack on foot. Delivered by heavy helicopters to the desired location for evacuation preparation.
The stretcher’s legendary reliability is ensured by high-quality assembly, German plastic, Italian fittings, and brass nickel-plated military-grade eyelets.
The speed with which the evacuation is carried out affects not only the life of the wounded person, but also the life of the evacuation team. The evacuation distance is often measured in kilometers and time is of critical importance, because from the appearance of the drone to the salutes from the mortar - a matter of minutes.
Evacuation by dragging saves people's strength when it is necessary to evacuate daily, repeatedly and over long distances. Such stretchers will preserve people's health, and also allow them to get out of extreme situations without abandoning their equipment.
Despite the harsh conditions, the stretcher ensures the reduction of secondary trauma during evacuation, the rigid frame protects against uneven ground and surrounding objects, and the insulating insert protects against hypothermia and excessive slipping of the injured person.
Two (and sometimes one) people are enough to evacuate on a plastic stretcher. This method of evacuation significantly facilitates the process and allows you to pull out your comrade even alone.
Stretchers will become indispensable wherever evacuation vehicles cannot reach: dense buildings, landings, trenches, mountains.
Stretchers are suitable for people of different heights and weights, reduce the effort required for evacuation, and allow evacuation to be performed regardless of the gender or build of the rescuer.
The stretcher conveniently rolls up and does not take up much space. The roll is easily attached to a backpack and allows you to perform an evacuation on your own when there is no evacuation vehicle and the only chance is to return to your position as quickly as possible.
Durable plastic is resistant to abrasion and breakage, resistant to moisture, frost and ultraviolet rays, corrosion-resistant brass eyelets, a strong sling, and fittings allow you to perform evacuation in any conditions without worrying about whether the stretcher will hold.
Exceptionally high-quality and reliable materials. Canvas (Germany) - high-density low-pressure polyethylene. Eyelets (Poland) - nickel-plated brass military series. Sling (Ukraine) - polyamide military series. Fittings (Italy) - 2M.
