Broadcast “Expert opinion” – announcement

🎙 Our founder on air — “Kraina FM”

The broadcast airs tomorrow — stay tuned for the link!

Max Shannon, founder of ShannonMechanics, joined the studio of Ukraine’s National Radio Station Kraina FM to talk about what drives us every day — saving lives through effective evacuation systems.

🎧 In this conversation, we share our experience since 2014 and explain why evacuation — often overlooked — is actually the key to survival on the battlefield.

📌 Topics we covered:
• How evacuation has changed in modern warfare
• Why YUTA stretchers are no longer a niche item, but as essential as a tourniquet or IFAK
• What evacuation looks like on the front line today
• Why we created Dingo, a next-generation logistics system
• What every soldier should know — not just medics

🛠 We talked not only about technical solutions, but also about how demand for gear evolves after first combat experience — when every detail starts to matter.

ShannonMechanics is a Ukrainian manufacturer built on the belief that life-saving gear must withstand anything — except indifference.
We don’t just make stretchers — we challenge how evacuation is perceived.

Huge thanks to the Expert Opinion project by Kraina FM for the platform — and to everyone listening, for your trust.

The latest phase of the war has once again changed the approach to evacuating the wounded from positions. The distances remain the same as at the beginning of the full-scale campaign, while unmanned reconnaissance and strike capabilities have multiplied significantly, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
‼️Hypothermia is an extremely dangerous condition, especially on the battlefield. Exposure to cold, rain, and wind, combined with blood loss and immobility, significantly increases the risks faced by a wounded soldier.
We've said it before, but Dingo is a universal assistant in any branch of the modern army! Believe us, it's not just the infantry who will find it useful. 😉 In the photo, you can see some of the gear that instructors have to carry daily at training centers for tactical medicine practice.
